The Godhead
We believe in one God, comprising in absolute unity the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that God the Father is the creator and sustainor of all things, and that 'in His hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind' (Job 12:10)
  • We believe that Jesus, the Son of God, came to this earth as God and man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless human life, and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will come again to judge the world and reign as King and Lord of all.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to convince people of sin and their accountability to God. He lives in believers from the time they turn to Jesus and works to make them holy.
The Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is inspired by God and is our totally reliable authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
The road to salvation
The following verses are taken from Paul's letter to the Romans in the New Testament. Because of this they are known as the Roman's Road to Salvation.
  • Romans 3:23 '.. all have sinned, and fall short of the Glory of God'
  • Romans 6:23 'For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord'
  • Romans 5:8 'But God shows His love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us'
  • Romans 10:9 '.. if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved'
  • Romans 10:13 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved'
